Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how VoidAtelier uses cookies and similar technologies on voidatelier.com. For how we process personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember information between visits. We also use similar technologies (localStorage, session storage) in the same way.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
Required for core functionality — session, authentication, rate limiting, maintenance-mode bypass. Disabling them would break the site. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest.
- void_admin_session — signed admin session (HttpOnly, 7 days).
- void_customer_session — signed customer session (HttpOnly, 30 days).
- void_maintenance_bypass — maintenance-mode bypass token (HttpOnly, 24h).
- void_consent — your current cookie preferences (1 year).
Analytics (opt-in)
Anonymous, aggregated usage data to understand how the site is used and improve it. Loaded only after you accept this category. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent.
- Vercel Analytics — cookieless / first-party beacons (see Vercel's docs).
- Any analytics scripts enabled via the admin panel and marked "analytics".
Marketing (opt-in)
Used to measure ad performance and retarget visitors on third-party platforms. Off by default.
- Meta Pixel, Google Ads, and similar tags if you explicitly enable them.
Preferences (opt-in)
Remembers interface preferences such as color theme or language between visits.
3. Managing your choices
You decide what we set. When you first visit the site, a cookie banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or customize each category. You can change your mind at any time:
After revoking consent, we also recommend refreshing the page so any third-party script loaded earlier is fully unloaded from memory.
4. Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies from their settings. Blocking all cookies may break essential functionality (such as staying logged in). See browser docs for Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
5. Do Not Track
We honor the user's last explicit choice in the cookie banner, which takes precedence over generic "Do Not Track" browser flags. If no choice has been made yet, no non-essential cookies are set.
6. Updates
If we add new cookies or change categories, we will bump the consent policy version and show you the banner again so you can re-confirm your choices.
