Terms of Service
Last updated: April 21, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of voidatelier.com and any services provided by VoidAtelier ("Studio", "we", "us"). By using the site or commissioning a project, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
VoidAtelier offers grimdark-style miniature painting, diorama commissions, and 12K resin 3D printing. Quality tiers, pricing, and turnaround times are described on the Services and Pricing pages and are confirmed individually per order.
2. Commissions
2.1 Quoting
After you submit a commission request, we will respond with a quote and estimated timeline. No contract is formed until both parties confirm scope, price, and payment schedule in writing (email counts).
2.2 Deposit and payment
Unless agreed otherwise, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due before shipping. Payment currencies: EUR, PLN, USD.
2.3 Revisions
Each commission includes one round of minor adjustments at the approval stage. Substantial changes after painting has started may incur additional charges.
3. Intellectual property
- You retain ownership of any STL file or reference material you upload. You grant VoidAtelier a limited, non-exclusive license to use these files solely to execute your commission.
- The finished physical miniature is yours upon full payment.
- We retain the right to photograph completed work and display it in our portfolio / social media unless you request otherwise in writing before delivery.
- You warrant that any third-party IP (e.g. Games Workshop designs, custom sculpts) you ask us to print or paint is used lawfully. VoidAtelier will not knowingly reproduce infringing files.
4. Shipping and risk
Shipping costs are quoted separately based on destination and declared value. Risk passes to you upon handover to the courier. Insurance is available on request and strongly recommended for display-tier work.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel before we begin work and receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the non-refundable deposit.
- Once painting has started, partial refunds are negotiated case by case based on labor already invested.
- Consumer right of withdrawal (EU): for commissioned, custom-made goods produced to your specification, the 14-day statutory withdrawal right does not apply (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(c)).
6. Warranties and liability
We deliver miniatures free from manufacturing defects. If a piece arrives damaged in transit, notify us within 7 days with photos; we will arrange repair, repaint, or a proportional refund depending on the extent of the damage.
Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising out of a commission is the total amount you paid for that specific commission. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law. This does not limit liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
7. Acceptable use of the site
- Do not attempt to break, probe, or reverse-engineer the site's security.
- Do not upload malware, illegal content, or files that infringe third-party rights.
- Automated scraping of images or data is not allowed without written permission.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email for registered customers and announced on the homepage. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes will be handled by the common courts competent for the seat of VoidAtelier, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules granting you the right to sue in your country of residence.
